home grown: Jessica Gomes

Another Australian beauty holding her place in the international modelling circuit is Jessica Gomes. Jess's father is from Portugal and her mother from Singapore, a combination which gives her a unique look. She was born and raised in Perth, and it wasn't until her mother sent her to modelling classes at Linda-Ann Model Academy in Midland at the age of 13 that Jess got a glimpse into the industry. It was there that she appeared on the hit TV show Bush Patrol, which lead to a modeling contest and the start of a successful career.

She has since appeared in Vogue, Teen Vogue, Glamour, American Glamour, Italian GQ and Victoria’s Secret catalogue, as well as having donned the runway for many international fashion houses. This Perth beauty is definitely one to keep an eye on- both on & off the runway..
